Financing Specialist Darcie Moss will be the Instructor for How to Use a Financial Calculator in Commercial Transactions.
Darcie Moss is a Senior Business Development Manager at UPS Capital. She originates SBA financing for business acquisition, real property purchases and franchise opportunities for UPS Capitals SBA lending division. UPS Capital is one of the nation’s growing Small Business Administration SBA 7a lenders with Preferred lending status in every US district and annual funding of approximately $250,000,000.
Darcie came to UPS Capital in 2004 with 18 years of commercial banking experience. Her niches have always been commercial lending to businesses of $1-$20 million in annual sales, real estate construction and mortgage lending, plus government guaranteed SBA loans.
Since 1989, Darcie has originated and closed commercial loans in over 80 industry segments. These loans helped privately held business owners expand, relocate, or restructure their businesses.
Ms. Moss earned her MBA from Wayne State University in 1992. She has a BBA in Finance from Central Michigan University.
In 2001, Darcie obtained her Michigan real estate and business broker’s license.
Darcie’s broker license acted as a spring board to her earning her advanced designation in commercial real estate in 2003 through the Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute in Chicago. She has since proctored the CCIM national exam, and graded both domestic and Korean candidate resumes for the Institute.
In 2003, Darcie wrote and taught a two house continuing education course for the state, on how to use a financial calculator in commercial transactions.
