Synergy Michigan 2010 Conference Set to be Business Highlight of the Year

“All In for Michigan!”

Synergy Michigan 2010 is set for April 28, 2010 and has moved from its historical location of Lansing, to the MGM Grand Detroit.

This conference, in its 9^th year, is presented by the Commercial Board of REALTORS® (CBOR) and WJR Radio, focuses on the positive attributes of the Michigan business environment and will feature a full day of panel style presentations from business professionals and industry leaders. The event’s theme, “All In for Michigan!” will be reinforced by current leadership examples of success in Michigan’s real estate landscape and the general business environment. The event is a tremendous networking opportunity and over 350 to 450 are expected to attend.

Added to the excitement of the day is the inaugural CBOR/WJR Radio Leadership “All In” Award for Real Estate Excellence. The award recipient will be selected based on their achievements and contributions to Michigan’s real estate landscape. Finalists include The Pulte Group, The Demattia Group, Ghafari, Ford Land, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and Wayne County. The Award will be announced and presented by CBOR/WJR Radio at the event.

The event’s new location will allow for a more exciting environment for networking and an opportunity to experience the MGM Grand Detroit development at the same time. Early registration includes an optional real estate 2-hour continuing education legal update and will take place in the morning, from 8:00-10:00 am, prior to the main kickoff of the day. Synergy Michigan 2010 will highlight solutions for the industry and take a look at the positive things that are happening in Michigan. Based on the success of last year’s event we are excited to bring you a similar format with panel discussions and well-known participants directly within the industry. Beginning at 10:00 am,Speaker lineup includes: John Ferchill (The Ferchill Group), Paul W. Smith (WJR Radio), Lisa Dancsok (MEDC), Patrick Fehring (Level One Bank), Daniel Stern (Lormax Stern), Peter Brown (Automotive News), Dr. David Cole (Center for Automotive Research), Ellen Hughes-Cromwick (Ford Motor Company), Jeffrey Schuman (Bank of America), Rick Snyder (2010 Republican Gubernatorial Candidate), Robert Ficano (Wayne County), Mark Petroff (Marketing Associates), Marc Gardner (North American Bancard), Joseph Serra (Serra Automotive), and Jack Krasula (WJR Radio).

This must attend event of the year is presented by the Commercial Board of REALTORS® (CBOR) and WJR Radio in partnership with the Michigan Chapter of CCIM, CoreNet Global, IREM, ICSC, and CREW Detroit. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
This award will recognize an organization for their professionalism, achievements and contributions to Michigan’s real estate landscape. Please complete the following form, and describe in detail the unique aspects and strategies of your work throughout your organizations history that distinguish your submission in the marketplace. The winner will be selected by a CBOR/WJR advisory panel.

ARTWORK
Submit an electronic version of your logo. Preferred artwork format are as follows: .eps, .ai or .psd. We will also expect a hi-resolution .jpg file with a resolution of 300 dpi or higher. This artwork will be used throughout the event to showcase those organizations that are nominated.

JUDGING CRITERIA
The CBOR/WJR advisory panel will select the overall winner based on the achievements presented by the nominees.

WINNER
The winner will be selected from the finalists and will be presented their award at Synergy 2010 on April 28th, 2010. Synergy is being held at the MGM Grand Detroit.
